New York State's new laws regarding mandated sexual harassment training took effect on October 9, 2018. The law requires annual training for all employees to be competed by October 9, 2019. That deadline is fast approaching, and ACEC New York is providing a web-based training seminar to our member firms so that you can stay in compliance.

This webinar is FREE to members* ($150 for non-members), and will be offered on:

Thursday, September 26th | 12:00 PM
Tuesday, October 1st | 8:30 AM

*Note: you MUST be signed in to receive the member rate. Membership is by firm. Don't have a profile? Register for one here.

The New York State Department of Labor and Workforce Development has issued guidance on what constitutes allowable and compliant forms of training. You can satisfy your training obligation by taking part in an additional live segment where ACEC New York Training Staff can accommodate questions asked by employees, with answers provided in a timely manner and watching the following videos (viewing videos required before webinar):

Part 1

Part 2

Can't view streaming at work? Download the video files.

You may be required to provide feedback or answers to questions posed about the training and the materials presented. During the webinar, questions will be taken via typed-in comment - we recommend the firm designate one person to collect and type all questions during the live presentation. If a participant wishes to ask a question privately, the contact information for the presenter will be provided to all registered sites (please disseminate within participants in your firm).

Following registration, connection information will be provided in a separate email. We encourage employees of the same firm to view the training together and share a connection. A sign-in sheet will be sent to all registered connections; the firm is responsible for recording all participants and keeping these sign-in sheets as records of completion.
