Doing business with NYS Thruway

Our members are working in challenging times. To help our industry stay strong and facilitate communication with our agency partners, ACEC New York has created a new program as part of the "Doing Business with..." program series: Doing Business in a Changed Environment with NYS Thruway Authority.

This program will feature Richard Lee, P.E., Chief Engineer | NYS Thruway Authority, who will speak on the Thruway's current plans going forward during the COVID-19 crisis and how members can best work with the agency as economic recovery begins.

Moderator: Neal Weitman, PE, ACEC New York NYS Thruway Authority Committee Chair | WSP USA

Discussion topics will include (subject to change):

  • Status of design contracts
  • Continue safe work, including budget impact
  • Safety of field workers
  • Restarting of paused work
  • Remote work practices; notary signatures; electronic invoicing and payments
  • Federal stimulus

Registration Fees Per Attendee: Member Rate $59 | Non-Member Rate $99
(Note: membership in ACEC New York is by firm—all employees of member firms receive the member rate. In order to receive the member rate, members MUST sign in. At this time, we can only accept payment via credit card.)

This webinar will take place using Microsoft Teams. A link to join the webinar, as well as call-in information, will be provided to attendees upon registration. You can participate through Teams through your browser (Chrome is suggested), through a desktop app or via mobile app. A Teams profile is free if you do not already have one. Download the Teams mobile app to participate via your mobile device.
