Barton & Loguidice (B&L) announced that Kurt Rademacher, P.E., LEED AP, has joined the Facilities Practice Area as Senior Managing Engineer in the firm’s Syracuse, NY office.

Beardsley Architects + Engineers announced that Kristin M. Ostiguy has joined the firm as an Electrical Designer.

The Chazen Companies announced that William Orsborn, CSP®, CHST® has joined Chazen as their Director of Health and Safety.

Jacobs announced the addition of Daniel P. Hitt, RLA as Senior Environmental Specialist.

Scott Holmquist has been promoted to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Project Manager at Ravi Engineering & Land Surveying, PC.

Sam Schwartz founder Samuel I. Schwartz has been named to the Mayor’s Sector Advisory Council on Surface Transportation, which is providing guidance to help shape New York City’s response to COVID-19.

Richard M. Amodei, a tenured and instrumental member of STV’s nationally renowned Transportation & Infrastructure Division (T&I), has been appointed to executive vice president of the division and will oversee its operations and growth.

LERA Consulting Structural Engineers (LERA) is providing structural engineering services for a new Covid-19 testing laboratory placed in the Morrisania Sexual Health Center in Morrisania, Bronx. The 1,500 sqft project designed by BKSK Architects and managed by the NYC Department of Design and Construction will be completed and open just 8 weeks from the start of design.

LERA Consulting Structural Engineers (LERA) provided structural engineering services for 120 new ICU beds at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx to help manage the surge of COVID-19 patients and to triple ICU bed capacity in the public hospital system’s response to the pandemic. This project was completed with Lothrop Associates.
