Anchin, Block & Anchin LLP annonced the recipients of the 2019 New York Construction Awards, including DeSimone Consulting Engineers, who earned the Industry Impact Award.

CHA announced the appointment of Jim Stephenson as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer and Steve Gormley as Vice President and Education Market Business Development Leader. CHA also announced that six new employees have joined its Albany area staff: David Hartmann as an engineering technician designer; Kathryn Mix as an assistant engineer; Nadia Alvarez as a recruiter; Saarthak Narsipur as assistant engineer; Aunkita Ghosh as an organizational development and engagement specialist; Mark Montoro as an assistant engineer; and Jessica Chambers has joined the firm as Manager of Design Technology Integration

The Chazen Companies is pleased to announce Amanda Vescovi, Assistant Environmental Scientist, has received the certification of Associate Wildlife Biologist (AWB®) from The Wildlife Society. The Chazen Companies also announced the expansion of their construction services with the addition of Joseph Delaney, Ph.D., P.E., LEED AP, PgMP, CCM as Director of Construction Services.

Delta Engineers, Architects and Land Surveyors, DPC announced the addition of the following new staff members to the Endwell office: Chenoa Hailey as an Engineer with Delta Precast; Timothy Miller, RLA as a Senior Landscape Architect; Mackenzie Ryan as an Assistant Engineer with Delta Precast; Peter Beylo as a Senior Project Manager; Jocelyn Whittemore, EIT as a Project Engineer.

DeSimone Consulting Engineers announced the appointment of five new Partners to the firm’s global Engineering Practice: James J. Bonanno, Benjamin T. Downing, Mukesh M. Parikh, Mark B. Plechaty, and Luis F. Ramirez.

James Ferrara has joined Group PMX as Transportation Director.

H2M architects + engineers announced the promotion of Scott Lehn, P.E., to Department Manager of Structural Engineering. In addition, Gregory Cellamare has received his New York State Professional Engineering license; and Corey Bierman, Connor Kurilko, and David Kirshy have all received their Engineer In Training (EIT) certifications. H2M also announced the addition of: Joseph Cline, P.E. as Practice Leader of Water; Saifuddin Saifuddin,, P.E., as Senior Project Engineer; Daniel Aiello, P.E., as Project Engineer 2; Robert Trotta, Jr. and Gabriela Saenz, EIT, as a Staff Engineer 2; Andrew Jackson, AIA, as a Project Architect 3; John Amante, James Lengyel, Eugene Jaques, and Frank Leva as Construction Inspector 2; Thomas Ricci, Jr. as Staff Planner 1; Michael Schmitz as Environmental Technician; and Ryan Rottner as Evidence Technician. Furthermore, H2M announced the corporate addition of: Lisa Mahoney as Senior Marketing Coordinator; William Smith as Proposal Coordinator; as well as Carol Rizzo and Anne McKenna as Administrative Support Professionals.

Langan congratulates its employees on their recent awards: Real Estate Weekly named Gerry Nicholls a 2019 Rising Star. Additionally, Women Builders Council recognized Rachel Belsky and Daria Stolyarov as Outstanding Women and Elizabeth Adkins, Kimberly Del Col, Colette DiLauro, Sayantani Ghosh, and Martha Glykofridi-Fragkou as Next Generation Women Builders.

P.W. Grosser Consulting, Inc. announced the hiring of Erik Dee-Olsen, PE, who will join the New York City Office as a Senior Project Manager.

Syska Hennessy Group has enhanced its wireless design capabilities by licensing iBwave software.

T.Y. Lin International announced that Matthew (Matt) G. Cummings, P.E., has been named President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 22, 2019.

Wendel announced the addition of the following staff: Robert Endress as Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer; Laura Eysnogle to Wendel’s Five Bugles Design Team; and Caryn Cowin as Construction Project Manager.

WSP USA announced the launch of the new Federal Programs and Logistics (FP&L) group. WSP USA has also announced its intent to become carbon neutral across its U.S. operations, including all offices and employee business travel, in 2019.
