The membership of ACEC New York includes 52 engineering firms and 10 affiliate members that are designated as Minority and/or Women-Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE). Information on these firms can be gathered from our searchable online directory with filters by region, membership type, and business classification.
ACEC New York supports the participation of MWBE firms in the industry as well as increasing the number of women and minorities entering the engineering profession. ACEC New York also supports maintaining the high level of safety and efficiency that New York City and New York State expect from the engineering community. We are committed to working with the Mayor’s Office of Contract Services, the NYC Department of Small Business Services, the Empire State Development Corporation and other state and city agencies and authorities to support the respective and appropriate levels of participation for professional design services for women and minority owned businesses.
As these programs evolve, ACEC New York looks forward to working with all public and private sector partners to provide programs that benefit all involved.
In addition to the support of programs for women and minority owned businesses, ACEC New York provides additional business related programs intended to help all small businesses grow. ACEC New York also has a separate 501(c)3 scholarship fund that supports college students in New York, including a significant number of aspiring women and minority engineers.
