2021 Leadership Institute Online - Limited Registration Still Available. Registration for the 2021 Leadership Institute is now available. Due to the current COVID-19 crisis, this year's class will take place virtually over Zoom in nine two-day sessions, as well as two dates with individual one-on-one coaching sessions with the presenters. Crain's New York Business Top Firms List. Crain's New York Business will publish its annual list of the New York area's largest engineering firms, ranked by total number of licensed engineers in New York-area offices in 2019, on August 10. To qualify for this list, a company must have an office in the New York area. Firms should have received information on this survey via email. Surveys must be submitted by July 15, 2020. Questions? Attention! 2021 EEA Moderators Needed. Currently, Engineering Excellence judging is scheduled for October 21 in New York City. The Engineering Excellence Committee is seeking licensed design professionals to act as moderators for the competition. In advance of the judging, the Moderator receives copies of the entrant’s written and visual materials. Moderators prepare a presentation 5-7 minutes in length about the project to present to the judges. Each moderator receives 4-8 projects. ACEC New York Municipal Affairs Counsel Wins Lifetime Achievement Award. Ken Fisher, Cozen O’Connor, Municipal Affairs Counsel for ACEC New York, has earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from the New York Law Journal. The winners will be recognized in the New York Law Journal’s upcoming Professional Excellence magazine and honored Oct. 27th at the New York Legal Awards at Marriott Marquis in New York City. ACEC New York offers our sincerest congratulations to Ken!

Call for Submissions! ACEC New York is looking for both technical and business programs to present as webinars. PDH webinars should be about one hour and should be technical in nature. Presenters earn 3 PDHs per 1-hour technical class the first time they present.
